Meet Treva Usher
Treva’s journey into landscaping began in 2005, when she was planting trees with a neighbour’s little yellow Datsun truck. What started as a simple love for gardening grew into an 18-year career running a successful landscape design and installation company in Calgary.
Today, Treva channels her extensive construction knowledge and plant expertise into creating thoughtful, lasting landscape designs. Her goal is simple: every yard should bring pride, comfort, and beauty to the people who call it home.
Meet Marguerite Bekker
Marguerite brings a background in fine arts to her landscape design work, combining creativity with practical knowledge. For more than 14 years, she collaborated with Treva’s design and installation company, refining her skills in landscape planning, plant selection, and garden styling.
Her passion extends beyond the garden bed. With training in floral and container design, interior design, and colour theory, Marguerite approaches each project holistically. She envisions outdoor spaces as “rooms” — complete with the right furnishings, containers, yard art, and accessories to tie it all together.
Together, Treva and Marguerite form a team that blends artistry with local expertise. They understand Calgary’s climate, the soils, and the plants that thrive here — and they know how to turn a vision into a workable plan.
